Pinlock USA

Pinlock opened offices in the United States at the end of 2004.  Even though Pinlock anti-fog systems was well established with many of the leading motorcycle helmet manufacturers in Europe, Pinlock USA had to start all over, convincing these same companies of the benefits associated with offering a Pinlock system to their US customers.  Today, we have four of the leading helmet manufacturers offering a Pinlock system as an aftermarket product. HJC was the first to offer a Pinlock ready shield on  their excellent FS 15 helmet. KBC in 2009 is offering several models with Pinlock ready shields. Shoei was our first manufacturer and along with Arai offer the Pinlock system as an aftermarket feature. 

Tim Holsather runs the US operations and is an avid motorcyclist.  He looks for every possible opportunity to test the product on the roads of North Carolina and his long distance tours to rallies around the country.

Pinlock Netherlands

The Pinlock Fog Resistant System was developed by Derek Arnold. Mr Arnold started the company in 1980 as a motorcycle accessories distributor in The Netherlands and in 2000 the company dropped all other business activities to focus on the development and marketing of fog resistant systems.

Pinlock lenses were introduced in Europe in 1997. The Pinlock lens was chosen as the best innovation of the year in 1998, beating out 1.000 other entries. With over 3.000.000 units sold in Europe, many of the major helmet brands offer Pinlock as a standard for their helmets. Brands include: Arai, Nolan, X-Lite, Lazer, Schuberth, BMW, Shoei and IXS.

In 2004, Pinlock entered the North American market. Currently the Pinlock system is offered as an aftermarket product for Shoei, Arai, HJC and KBC. HJC and KBC are introducing helmets that are offered with Pinlock ready shields.
